1. App Permissions - What We Request and Why

Tittle requests the following permissions to provide core functionality. You can manage these permissions in your device settings at any time.

📍 Location Access (REQUIRED)

Why we need it:

To determine your current location when viewing nearby posts
To attach location data to photos you post so others nearby can see them
To filter and display content within your selected distance radius

How we use it:

Collected when you open the app and use the Wall feed
Attached to every photo you post (approximate location, not exact coordinates)
Used to calculate distance-based filtering
Your precise GPS coordinates are never displayed to other users

What happens if you deny it:
Core features will not work. Tittle is a location-based app and requires location access to function.

📷 Camera Access (REQUIRED)

Why we need it:

To allow you to take photos directly within the app
Tittle is designed for capturing real-time moments with your camera

How we use it:

Only activates when you tap the Camera button
Photos are taken and stored only when you press the shutter button
We do not access your camera without your interaction

What happens if you deny it:
You will not be able to post photos. Tittle does not support uploading photos from your gallery - only fresh camera captures.

🔔 Notifications (OPTIONAL)

Why we need it:

To notify you when someone likes your post
To alert you about new comments on your photos
To inform you when someone follows you
To send important service updates

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

Account Information:

Username (unique identifier)
Display name (full name)
Email address
Phone number (with country code)
Profile information you choose to add

User Content:

Photos you take and upload using the App
Captions and comments you write
Likes and interactions with other users' content

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

Location Data:

Your precise geographic coordinates when you take a photo
Your approximate location when browsing the Wall feed
Location data is collected in real-time when using the App
Location services must be enabled to use core features

3. How We Use Your Information

3.1 Core Service Functionality

Display Location-Based Content: Show you photos posted by users near your current location
Store Your Posts: Save and display your photos to users within your selected privacy settings
User Authentication: Create and manage your account
Enable Interactions: Allow likes, comments, follows, and shares

Content Moderation: Use automated systems (including AI) to detect inappropriate content
Fraud Prevention: Detect and prevent spam, abuse, and policy violations

Public Posts:

Photos marked "Public" are visible to all users within geographic range
Your username and display name are visible on public posts
Your approximate location area (not exact coordinates) may be visible

Private Posts:

Photos marked "Private" are only visible to users you follow
Your followers can see your private content

We use third-party service providers to operate our Service:

Amazon Web Services (AWS S3):

Stores your uploaded photos
Located in US East (N. Virginia) - us-east-1
Subject to AWS privacy policies

Google Firebase:

Authentication (manages your account login)
Firestore (stores user profiles and post metadata)
Cloud Functions (processes backend operations)
Subject to Google's privacy policies

Google Mobile Ads:

Displays advertisements within the app
May collect device identifiers for ad targeting
Subject to Google's advertising policies

5. Your Rights and Choices

5.1 Access and Update Your Information

View and edit your profile information in Account Settings
Update your display name, username, email, or phone number at any time

5.2 Delete Your Content

Delete individual posts from your profile
Remove comments you've posted
Unlike posts or unfollow users

5.3 Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your account in Settings → Account → Delete Account
Deletion removes your profile, posts, and associated data
Some information may be retained in backups for up to 90 days

5.4 Privacy Rights by Region

We will delete the account immediately
We will remove all associated content

Tittle is operated from the United States. If you are located outside this region:
